More Parking at Bristol Airport on the Cards

The airport administration applied to bring forward plans to expand one of one its largest car parks and create an extra 3650 parking spaces. However, they have come up against current planning permission regulations which stipulate they cannot begin work on the car park before they have completed the first phase of another multi-storey car park to the north of the terminal.

As well as the new security area, other improvements will include an enlarged baggage reclaim area, as well as more spacious customs facilities and meet and greet areas. CEO Robert Sinclair says, “We want to make Bristol Airport the first choice for passengers across the South West of the UK by combining world class facilities with West Country hospitality. This terminal extension raises the bar for regional airports by combining a spacious feel with the latest technology and a real sense of place.”
